Haku and Momo went Washinomiya for New Year's shrine visiting.

Haku came to Washinomiya station. She was going to Washinomiya Shrine. On the way to the shrine, she dropped into a bar named "Anniversary" which was famous for Lucky Star decoration. Haku waved her hand to a tarin. But it was a deadhead... Miyamae bridge with red parapet was located in front of the shrine
Haku got to the main torii(shinto gate). We could find Kagami and Tsukasa everywhere in the shrein. There were many ema(wooden votive tablet) with anime characters mainly Lucky Star. Haku found an ema drawn by Kagami Yoshimizu who was an authorship of Luckey Star!
There were not only characters from Luckey Star but other characters like Miku Hatsune. Many goods with pictures of Racing Miku (Miku wearing Race queen costume) were sold at the booth. Booth of distilled spirit labeled of Lily. Lily was one of the vocaloids.
Maekake chan from mellow collage Her badges were distributed. Main shrine was so crowded by worshippers. So Haku prayed at one of the small shreins located in grounds of Washinomiya shrine.

Haku was taking a rest but... many visitors wanted to take photos even she was sitting on the bench. Haku returned to the main gate and found a long line for New Year's shrine visiting.
Otori chaya(teahouse) located near the main gate. Ita bicycle of Miku The owner worn cool Miku's cycling wear. Extra newspaper of anime named "Saitamania" was given out.
Haku left the shrein and was goint to... octopus dumpling shop and she bought a plate of them. yum yum!

and came to a small shrein, then they prayed. Japanese tied paper fortunes to barriers in the grounds of the shrine. sometimes it looked like a wall.
Cosplayer of Kagami handed out extra newspapers. The cat was said that often appeared in the shrein. They seemed to make a friend each other. A report of New Year's shrine visiting finished.
